HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

My birthday started on Wednesday when I came home to a giant wrapped present on the kitchen table! Finally I persuaded Jeffrey to let me open it .... inside were two more wrapped presents and I finally got to THIS! My new Nook Simple Touch :) I am so excited! I can read for hours and hours and my eyes never hurt! It's such a nice little addition to my Nook family :)

Last night... instead of doing the normal St. Patrick's Day thing, I had my birthday party at Miss Amanda's house! :) It was so much fun and the whole gang was there! There was pizza, cake, cupcakes, karaoke, and a whole lotta FUN! <3 I have the most wonderful friends in the universe.

(awww... we are missing some at the grocery store run.)

Hello! Cabaret auditions have come and gone and I'm sure you're all on the edge of your seats wondering if I got a role or not.... well here's the scoop.... I SURE DID! Say hello to Southern Calfornia's newest Sally Bowles! <3 I simply can't believe it and I am just so excited! My first lead in a musical! I know I will exceed everyone's expectations and I just can't wait for rehearsals to start so we can be underway! :)


I just put in all my requests at work for the time off I need to suit my rehearsal and performance schedule. Everyone is going to hate me by the end of this show because I feel the need to tell everyone I just got cast haha but luckily most everyone is a theater person so they understand(at least they say they do!).


Also: my friend Gavin is playing opposite me as Cliff and my other friend is playing the Emcee! It's going to be a wonderful production and ahhhh! It's all I can think about! :D


Come out and see it! Golden West College the first two weekends in May :)

basically what we gonna do is dance.

So I've been attempting to clean these past couple of days. I am working on one area at a time but I have hit a wall. I can't get anything else in this damn room done until ALL the laundry has been washed, sorted, and I've made keep and donate piles. Though I must say, I am ready to de-clutter. I am exhausted always having to look at all of this crap that I am just hoarding! I am a hoarder by genetics, so it will be tough, but I am ready to simplify my life. (We can all thank pinterest for this sudden burst of inspiration...pinspiration?) I know how I am going to redo my closet, as well! I can't wait!!


On the bright side, it has been a wonderful and relaxing week. I have "Cabaret" auditions and I am so EXCITED and anxious! I really want this! I'll be happy no matter what the outcome because I know that I have improved .... I don't need a lead role to tell me that .... but it would be a nice bonus ;D


I wish more of my friends had blogs! So far it's just me and Michael. Hey, boo! Who else do you think we could rope into this?

HELLO, WORLD!


Time to catch up, I suppose. I feel the only reason I HAVEN'T in the last week is because my life really is that boring.... but looking back on it... ITS NOT! Here's some amazing things that have happened recently.....


On Wednesday I went with my friend Amanda to pay for my bridesmaid dress for her wedding! It's paid in FULL and I can't WAIT to go pick it up so I can take some pictures and show everyone! (Ready for the coolest part? I dropped a dress size! YES!) Anyway.... moving on....
Once we left Alfred Angelo we headed over to a little nail salon to get some serious pampering in. (Okay, maybe I just got a manicure.. but that's the only pampering I've had in a while!)
Then we had dinner with her dad at a little place called "Hot Off the Grill".... seriously cheap and seriously good! I was a first timer and I loved it!


I did have to work Thursday, Friday, and Saturday but then Saturday night came. A couple of weeks ago, Tony and I created some painted ceramic treasures at a little place called "Color Me Mine!" We picked them up Saturday night (and might I say that my piggy bank is BEAUTIFUL!.... pics soon) and then we headed over to A.Shay's for a "rager"! (rager: playing disney games and sippin' on Mike's hard lemonade).. we played an AMAZING little game called HEADBANZ!

The game consists of having a card on our head and asking series of yes or no questions to guess our character.... so much fun!! <3




Today my bffl (http://eskimonsurfer.blogspot.com/) and Will went to see a wonderful show called "Zanna, Don't!" It wasn't the best production of a show I'd ever seen.... but I can't say that I didn't thoroughly enjoy myself!
